I'm halfway through my offline work. I got a major and a minor project done, now I've got left another major and two minors.

I'm going to take a little break this week to work on my own projects, a day or so - since the old version of 20G won the poll (one for the "new version" was my vote so I could actually see the results ) that will be the next piece posted.

But I can't start until tomorrow because I was supposed to be in bed an hour and a half ago

As I said, my A/C adapter broke Sunday night. My new one came in early this morning.

Normally, I'd be a little upset but I could deal without my computer for a few days. Now, though, was the absolute WORST time for my computer to break down. I'm working on a illustrations for a children's book that have a vague deadline for next week. So I was hoping to use my Thanksgiving break time to finish up the 20-some images I have to create. Nope! A/C adapter breaks on the first day I have off.

So I ordered a new one on Sunday with priority overnight shipping - unfortunately Toshiba only processes orders on business days. But it was here bright and early this morning!

In the meantime I did the final sketches for the unfinished drawings on paper. Also wrote some 3PA, and strange of all things, some DDR Hottest Party fanfiction o_0 The inspiration for a written adaptation came to me when I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. I'll eventually post it but right now I have to catch up on the two days of project work I missed.

I've had the game for a couple weeks now. So far things haven't changed from my first impression but I'm going to be playing this a long time before I go back to HP 1 or 2. They've made a lot of improvements.

Good stuff!
-The graphical layouts of the game menus are actually pretty cool. I thought it looked a little corny from the screenshots but when it's in motion it looks a lot better.
-The arrows sparkle when you get into the higher combos Gotta love that glitter
-I love the character battle intros, that weird tunnel intro for the boss songs, and that the characters have reactions to their grades now. I think the "Failed" poses are the most entertaining though, it's so funny to see the guys getting all mad
-The original songs made for the game are very nice. I hope I can get the soundtrack.

Not so good stuff
-One of the only two people with speaking lines, the DJ, has one of the WORST voice actors I've ever heard. Even Spyn, who normally overlooks bad VAs, was just like D= "No. Bring the old guy back."
-There's kind of a story in tournament mode but it still doesn't involve the characters at all. Why not? =<
-I'm not a big fan of the covered songs. Some of them are OK.

I've been making my way through everything collected since last Tuesday in the inbox. The last hour and a half and I've only gotten a quarter of the way through! x_x At the same rate it'd take me six hours to get to the end, and I've only got two or three left before I have to get to sleep. Considering that I have other work to do as well, I'm going to have to give it up.

Probably would have been easier if I took the submissions one day at a time. Then again, some days I barely have time to get ready before I have to go out to work.

I'm tired of letting everything pile up though DX and I'm not willing to give up on changing the habit. So I have a refined, indefinite task at hand. My Deviations inbox will be cleaned out by 7am every morning (I typically work nights so this is around the very end of my day) comments or not. One of the problems is I keep many pieces around intending to comment on them later but I never do. Hopefully this will encourage me to speak up more quickly.

Okay! After letting my Deviations inbox grow to ridiculous proportions e_e() I've decided I will try my challenge again. I will comment on every piece that pops up in my inbox for a week, with a few exceptions.

1) If it's basically the same picture with just a tiny change, comment on only one of them required.
2) A series of comic pages, comment on only one of them required.
3) I will TRY to read prose entries - if it requires me to go back and read 20 previous chapters I probably won't get around to it now (though I may add it to my reading list)
4) If whoever submitted the picture didn't draw even a little part of it, no comments.
